Adam participated in RILEM 252-CMB Symposium on Chemo-Mechanical Characterization of Bituminous Materials. He presented a paper on Machine Learning Technique for Interpretation of Infrared Spectra Measured on Polymer Modified Binders

University of New Hampshire

Adam was a visiting scholar at the University of New Hampshire Center for Infrastructure Resiliency to Climate (UCIRC) in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Really nice place and impressive research!  Many thanks to Jo Sias Daniel and Eshan V. Dave for hosting.

6TH SILESIAN ROAD FORUM

Adam presented at the 6th Silesian Road Forum in Katowice (24.04.2018 - 26.04.2018). His presentation was on Proactive management of road assets. Organizers were Polish Road Congress (Polski Kongres Drogowy) and the Regional Roads Authority in Katowice (Zarzad Drog Wojewodzkich w Katowicach).

ASFALTY 2018

Adam chaired seminar ASFALTY 2018 (Kraków, 7-8 marca 2018 r).  This meeting focused on the newest developments in asphalts around the world and their implications on Polish market. More info HERE, pictures HERE.

PIARC Winter Maintenance Congress

Ewa recently participated in PIARC XV Winter Maintenance Congress which was held in Gdansk, Poland from Feb 20-23, 2018 LINK. Ewa had a podium presentation on Use of deicing agents/chemicals and their impact on water bodies and environment.  

Transportation Research Board (TRB), 7-11 January, 2018

Adam participated in the Annual Transportation Research Board (TRB) meeting in Washington, DC. Plenty of meetings, sessions and workshops! He also chaired a session on Chemistry and Rheology of Asphalt Binders and attended committee meeting of AFK20 (Asphalt Binders), AHD18 (Pavement Preservation) and AFD10 (Pavement Management).
