STAPLE Test Site visits launched!

STAPLE Consortium have started the Automated Test Sites visits on 19 of June 2019. We have visited test sites in the UK: Horriba-Mira and Midlands. On 3 of July we visited AlpLab test site located in Graz, Austria. The STAPLE consortium and CEDR CAD group members from RWS (Netherlands)  and ASFINAG (Austria) participated in the meetings and demonstrations. Virtual vehicle simulator and automated driving in testing environment were observed. Next visits are planned for Transpolis (France) and Aurora (Finland).

FIRM 2019

ERICA actively participated in the FIRM 2019 Conference (FEHRL event) in Brussels, March 26-28.
30th Anniversary of FEHRL was celebrated on March 26th with many important guests who had an influence on forming the "FEHRL family" over the years. Ewa participated in a bunch of interactive workshops for European projects and also for the STAPLE project via buzzmaster (https://www.buzzmaster.nl/en/). The event was a great success facilitating current European trends in automation, asset management, electrification, robotics ans skills. Congratulations FEHRL!

STAPLE Workshop in Tallinn March 6-7

ERICA participated in the STAPLE (Site Automation Practical Learning) project workshop on March 7th  in Tallinn (Estonia). STAPLE is funded by the CEDR 2017 transitional research project topic Automation. We had a great participation from NRAs and automotive sector.

PIARC Winter Maintenance Congress

Ewa recently participated in PIARC XV Winter Maintenance Congress which was held in Gdansk, Poland from Feb 20-23, 2018 LINK. Ewa had a podium presentation on Use of deicing agents/chemicals and their impact on water bodies and environment.  

Final Review meeting of USE-iT

Ewa participated in the Final Review Meeting of the H2020 Project USE-iT with the EC and INEA in Brussels on 23 of June. Ewa is managing WP2: User Information on behalf of IBDiM. It was a great project and we got to work in a great team of AIT, TRL, FEHRL and Maple Consulting on this project. Congratulations to all WP Leaders on successful presentations!

COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION DAYS by EC

Ewa participated in 2nd Workshop on Infrastructure Cloud – Operation and Services, organized by the European Commission in Brussels on June 9th, 2017

21st Century Mobility conference

Ewa participated in the Tools for 21st Century Mobility conference organized by the Czech Center for Mobility - RODOS in Prague on April 24th, 2017. The conference featured international speakers from PIARC, USA, South Africa, Japan and Europe. The topics mentioned during the event included applications of big data tools for traffic management, smart parking, tolling, and origin-destination modeling. The evening program was held on the cruise boat with the tour guide so all participants could combine networking with sightseeing of Prague!

Ewa actively participated in 2017 FEHRL Infrastructure Research Meeting (FIRM17) in Brussels. There was also DeTECToR workshop and a final conference for our H2020 project USE-iT.
