200 lat Jeneralnej Dyrekcji Dróg i Mostów w Królestwie Polskim

Adam participated in seminar to celebrate 200 years of Polish National Road Administration.  More info under this LINK. 
Adam wziął udział w seminarium w ramach obchodów 200 lat od powołania Jeneralnej Dyrekcji Dróg i Mostów w Królestwie Polskim, czyli Centralnej Administracji Drogowej, której kontynuatorem działań jest Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad (GDDKiA). Więcej informacji TUTAJ.

STAPLE Test Site visits launched!

STAPLE Consortium have started the Automated Test Sites visits on 19 of June 2019. We have visited test sites in the UK: Horriba-Mira and Midlands. On 3 of July we visited AlpLab test site located in Graz, Austria. The STAPLE consortium and CEDR CAD group members from RWS (Netherlands)  and ASFINAG (Austria) participated in the meetings and demonstrations. Virtual vehicle simulator and automated driving in testing environment were observed. Next visits are planned for Transpolis (France) and Aurora (Finland).

VII Kongres Infrastruktury Polskiej (12 czerwiec 2019)

Adam wziął udział w dyskusji panelowej podczas VII Kongresu Infrastruktury Polskiej 2019. Tematyka panelu dotyczyła dróg samorządowych, a dokładniej "Inwestycje w drogi samorządowe – skala potrzeb a rzeczywistość". Adam zwrócił uwagę m.in. na konieczność podejmowania racjonalnych decyzji dotyczących procesu inwestycji i utrzymania w oparciu o systemowe zarządzanie aktywami i proaktywną strategię.

EATA conference in Granada, Spain (3-5 June 2019)

Adam presented his paper "Practical overlay design method for geogrid reinforcement of asphalt layers" during 8th European Asphalt Technology Association (EATA) Conference in Granad, Spain. Great place and excellent conference!

Associate Editor in RMPD

Adam was recently elected to serve as Associate Editor in prestigious journal Road Materials and Pavement Design (RMPD). He is one of 13 Editors who make sure that this journal publishes state-of-the-art research and maintains high scientific level.

FIRM 2019

ERICA actively participated in the FIRM 2019 Conference (FEHRL event) in Brussels, March 26-28.
30th Anniversary of FEHRL was celebrated on March 26th with many important guests who had an influence on forming the "FEHRL family" over the years. Ewa participated in a bunch of interactive workshops for European projects and also for the STAPLE project via buzzmaster (https://www.buzzmaster.nl/en/). The event was a great success facilitating current European trends in automation, asset management, electrification, robotics ans skills. Congratulations FEHRL!

STAPLE Workshop in Tallinn March 6-7

ERICA participated in the STAPLE (Site Automation Practical Learning) project workshop on March 7th  in Tallinn (Estonia). STAPLE is funded by the CEDR 2017 transitional research project topic Automation. We had a great participation from NRAs and automotive sector.
